Interest in Forsaken has been expressed by several members of our domain. For the last 18 months the genre has been dormant. Today I got to see why.
Despite nearly three weeks advance, no player showed up to the first game.
Pregame was supposed to be at 3.
Don, Angel, and myself sat in the cool shade overlooking the lake at Standing Bear. It was beautiful and the weather was nearly perfect.
We sat there for an hour and a half, preparing for game, and sharing our hopes and doubts.
Many people could not make game because they had legitimate problems which prevented them from being there. Others have decided so far in advance not to come that nothing would have changed their minds.
Every opportunity that I have - I attend game. It doesn't matter where it is, who runs it, or how little interest I have in bringing my character. If I can make it to a game - I go.
When I have issues with a storyteller - I tell them. Any problems that I have with a player - I tell them. This might make me unpopular, but at least I try.
So I am going to give this one more shot. I am going to push my preconceived notions about why nobody came to game to the back of my mind and I am going to give the domain one last chance to participate in the Forsaken venue.
You tell me where you want game.
You tell me when you want game.
If I can make it, we'll put it on the schedule.
However, I need to know that this is going to be worth my time and worth yours. If you can make it. If you can't make it. Let me know.
Suggest a day, a time, and a game location.
