The Trial of Reverend Sariel Saint James

Last Saturday - Sariel Saint James presented himself to Prince Prank for an official trial to determine whether or not the Bloodhunt would stand against him in Lincoln, NE.

A kindred known as "Spectre" interrupted the trial just as it was getting underway - demanding that Sariel Saint James be executed on the spot.

Over the course of the night Spectre and Prank exchanged words and the outcome of the discourse was that Lincoln was handed to Spectre.

I am not all-knowing or all-seeing. The exact details of the event are unknown to me. However, there is something in the pit of my stomach that does not sit well. Perhaps it was the notion that control of a city is passed from one Prince to another like it was a physical object.

Sariel Saint James went to Lincoln to face his accusers. Although some of you might not like him or the decisions made towards him recently - he has at least shown courage.

Spectre now holds the position of Prince in Lincoln. His domain does not concern me. However, he is not the Prince of Omaha. While Spectre may enforce a bloodhunt in Lincoln his authority does not extend here.

Unto Brother Arturo and the Kindred of Omaha and Lincoln,

Although I missed the majority of the gather on Saturday, the events that took place in the city of Lincoln were interesting to say the least. It is doubtful that many expected to ever see Czar Derick Spectre again. That being said, it is true that Czar Spectre is once again the Prince of Lincoln. It is my understanding at this point that the hunt that was once called on Reverend St. James has since been rescinded, although I do believe that a state of exile has been inserted in its stead. I will endeavor to unearth more details regarding such for the benefit of all involved.

Brother Arturo, I am disappointed in myself that I did not get the opportunity to meet you while you visited here. Perhaps, should it turn out that I am able, we may get a chance to rectify that the weekend of the 26th.

Reverend St. James, I must say that I am quite impressed with the strides that you have taken to regain the ground that you had once had. I have no doubt that you will once again be a pillar amongst the Sanctified before the unfortunate series of misunderstandings that soiled your name.

While Spectre may enforce a bloodhunt , Exile What have you in Lincoln. His authority does not extend here. Let it be known any unacknowledged kindred entering my city With out my permission will be seen as a trespasser an will be dealt with accordingly.
