Howdy folks,
Your friendly neighborhood Phoenix here. Yeah, I'm still around. No, I haven't left, and I can assure you that whatever rumors that you have heard are untrue. Truth be told, I've taken the last few months to do some intense "soul searching" in order to find my own direction in this magey life. I can pretty much say: mission accomplished. That being said, there is one minor thing that has been hanging over our consillium's head like a storm cloud over Wile E. Coyote..... Who is our freakin' Heirarch?
Let's break it down a bit. To get to the point, we need one. But who will be that next Nebraskan Idol? All kidding aside, I know that my name has been brought up more than once. Rown has mentioned it. Mortemor has mentioned it. And a few more have mentioned it though I can't remember exactly who at this point. Some time ago, Cwrw contacted me and told me that he had, in fact, claimed Heirarch and wanted me to take on the mantle of Sentinel. I promptly told him that he was cracked. Touched in the head, if you will.
That being said, as per our new Lex I know that there needs to be a vote of the Council of Cabals in order to officially elect a new Heirarch. Well, since I (more or less) head up AC/DC, I can't really vote for myself, though Rown and Tempest have both nominated me. Honestly, I don't know the current state of Modus Operandi, and I knew of the existence of another cabal there for a short time, though I think it ultimately disbanded. Along with that, we have a new cabal that is stuck in Magey Purgatory without said Heirarch.
Now, I've tried this once before, and it went off with a resounding THUD! However, I've called Nebraska my home for a LONG time now, and have gone to great lengths to ensure that the people (magey and non-magey) that live in these cities have every opportunity to improve their quality of life. In that respect, I will always endeavor to accomplish that goal. So....until such time as the Cabals can either elect a Heirarch that they can agree on, or until someone wishes to step forward and skull thump me for it, I will take on the mantle of Hierarch in order to best serve this city and it's consillium.
I will now begin taking brown-nosers and bribes.
