A Lot Of Visitors & No Activity

I have noticed that a lot of people are looking in on this, but little-to-nothing is being posted. I'm not sure who is monitoring/moderating this web site any more. If I do not get a direct answer within a week I am going to launch another proboards website for our domain.

Construction of said proboards alternative is already underway as of this posting. I am simply looking for proof of life here so that I'm not duplicating resources for no reason.

Some of this information is a year or more outdated. For instance, it still says ADST in the corner by my name.

I don't see any reason to open yet *another* web-based site for our domain. Rest assured, this pro board is being used, though not at the furious level that is was when it was "brand new".

I've touched upon three already, Scott.

Reason 1: Long periods of outdated information.
Reason 2: Inactivity
Reason 3: No oversight

These all tie in together and it would take only a few minutes every week to keep the message boards alive and updated.

Short of that, we need to relocate to another message board which can be given that attention.

Well Luke. I post all the time IC and OOC I use this thing to full use.. hence Senior Member Status that I got from the boards and all.

I got more posts than Tim and Scott.. that's saying soemthing.

Do you agree with the following?
1.) I could benefit from an active admin on this website.
2.) I could benefit from a replacement proboards website where the message boards are less confusing,
3.) I would enjoy more replies to my message board posts.
4.) I enjoy an occasional change to the 'look' of a website (such as background images, colored text, etc.)
5.) I enjoy intimate acts that involve: rubber chickens, a telephone cord, and three cans of "EZ Cheez"...

If you answered "no" to any of these questions please explain why.

The last public post not related to this subject was on May 13th, approximately 10 days ago.

I am no longer "ADST- NPCs Allies and Influences", but only the admin can remove that from my profile tag.

I actually managed to find a different message board that didn't have a huge advertisement on it.

It also allows people who are logged in to chat with each other.

Eh.. it doesn't seem too much different. I prefer the password boards myself you can go back and look at old messages.. Plus do we really need a new board? I don't think so. Use of this one is limited due to few people using it.

It's not that we need a new message board, Isaac. We just need one that's going to be updated. For the last month (or longer) I have been trying to get a firm answer on who the admin is for this website and I haven't gotten one. So apparently the one message board that's going to be updated isn't the proboards.

I took your advice and I now have private boards on the other website. These private boards right now only consist of covenant, court, and orders --- but more will be added as the players feel it's needed.

Do me a favor and register on that other website so you can give the other features a spin. I assure you the differences are there.

I thought Jessye and Tim were our admins, but as of late they have not been on thsi site or been vocal.

We've kept this thread alive for almost a month and there's still no answer from an admin.

I'm going "public" with my alternative message board and I'm going to start encouraging its use regardless.
