OOC - New Changling

So I am kinda transplanting our Pan's Labyrinth discussion over here. Anyone excited about the new ling that comes out in august? (I know a few of us are) Are enough of us excited to have a venue? Anyone interested in STing said venue? I always liked changling (in theory if not in practice) it is one of those games that requires a really good ST and players who will embrace the world of darkness instead of trying to turn it into a game of puppies kittens and make believe (which is all to easily done). Anywho...anyone have anything else to add?

Depending on the new material, I might be interested. Changeling was always among my favorites in the OWOD. If they've done the genre justice in the new stuff, I'll be there with bells on for whatever we decide to do.

Yeaozza!!! I would LOVE it if you decided to run the new changeling venue. If you did that, I would even volunteer to be an AVST for you!!

Oh yeah baby!! I LOVE the idea that the PCs are among the few mortals who have been kidnapped by fae and have somehow managed to scrape themselves back to the "real world".
I also love that the morality scale for these folks has been replaced by a sanity scale.

Trust me, once I saw the stuff the leaked on demos, I've been hooked, wanting to play it. I jsut want to read over the entire book or such to get a good feel and hopefully get a good things flowing. Course, would love to sit down with other players here once we get a bit more of an edge to work it out.

Well...I am definatel getting excited about the teasers I've read through..just have to wait till august. I fall more and more in love with the NWoD every time a new Genre is released. I absolutely *love* promethean and if changeling gets nearly as much heart I will be hooked.

oooo I forgot to mention.If you guys like promethian we have a venue here in desmoines that starts from 1pm in the afternoon to 5pm on sundays befor mage. Witch is the 1st and 3rd sundays of the month.

Today I had the opportunity to look over a copy of Changeling and was extremely impressed with what I read. White Wolf has really amazed me this time.

Some of the mechanics in Changeling seem to actually address problems that the other venues are facing. It gives me goosebumps. (That or the A/C)

I am looking forward to participating either as a player or as a storyteller - depending on how the cards are dealt.

Either way, I think we should work out a nice backdrop well before the game has its hard start in January. (Soft RP begins in Oct. for XP)!
