Ok, So i heard form Steph via phone that there are plans to getting a Game of the Month in Lincoln on November the 10th for the Requiem Venue. Would anyone need some legwork on sites or are we getting White Hall that day? I am offering to help if nothing is final yet. Yes, Tim I am looking at you for directions.... Also I would like to see a Mage game in Lincoln on that day as well or a Changeling game would be cool too. Can we make it a two game day if possible? HINT HINT HINT... From, Isaac Welch US2006129120

Oooh ooh Chad! Chad!
I got a great idea. If we do have a Game of the Month in lincoln on the 10th of November, can we have it either be inductions for various PCs into covenants, or the opening of Haven?
It would make for a good story...

There will be no FGotM on November 10th, or anytime in November for this domain. It's too short of notice and the proper channels/communications were not followed. If nothing else, I know that no one talked to the Mage VST about the possibility of a double up, or Changeling as a potential regional soft-RP game doubling up with it (as we traditionally do for FGotMs).
Seriously, we need more than 2 weeks notice to get a FGotM active. I'd love to use White Hall, and I'd love to have a FGotM here. However, I'd love everybody to be involved in that decision process, especially those who are ultimately responsible for such events.
That said, I've talked to Chris Leeson, as the interest is obviously there. He said December would be a good time frame, and we might be able to do it the first or second weekend. Please, STs, talk amongst yourselves, figure out what games we might run, if we want to double up even, and coordinate. I'm still up via e-mail and such, you can talk to me.

Perhaps a separate board entitled "Game Schedules" should be added. As it is....it's too damned confusing to figure out what board to put it under.

There is one...it's called "Game Schedules and Sites" under the Coordinator part of the main board.

Ok,
So I was discussing maybe the possibility of finding out the weekend campout for kids was and maybe we could use that weekend as a charity and have our Game of the Month at that time as well.
I'll chat up Dawn with Scott's help(if he is interested that is..) and I'll see what they got over at Clear Channel.

The Game of the Month issue is nebulous at best. We are in planning stages, so a load of rumors are going to fly around, of course. Be patient, and we'll get this thing off the ground. This isn't just an ST chain thing, or a coordinator issue, it is a domain project, to which we all must contribute. Whitehall is no longer available to rent, thus an alternate site must be found. (The first of several pitfalls). Patience temperance and diligence are key.
The next Lincoln Game is the second Saturday of November, as per our "pending" schedule, which is stated in the VSS. Any other scheduling issues must be dealt with on a venue-wide basis, i.e. the players of the Lincoln VSS. It is only by a consensus that we may schedule anything.
As far as scheduling snafus have gone, running over other games has never been the intention, and I for one am scratching my smooth, shiny dome over the solution.

Ok Chad and Tim,
If we are looking at possibly at getting a fEAture Game of the month, how can I help get it to be. Being that this will be after Big Red footbal season but during Christmas offcie party season we should get on this soon to reserve meetting halls and such...
I knwo the airport inn in Lincoln was fairly reasonable last I checked.. 200 to use all 3 of there partitoned rooms if I remember... I can check on that price once again cuase this was lamost 6 years ago when I last looked...

Thanks for your offer of help. Keep looking for sites. Get a list of wheres and prices. We'll get a consensus and try to decide from there.
At this point the going is slow because we all seem to be busier than one-armed paper hangers.

I'll call around this week and see what Hotels or hall costs are.. and availability. I can have a list for Time, Steph, Leanne, and you Chad by next game.. I think.. kids have been sick and lots of doctor visits so no promises on that schedule, but I'll give it the college try at least.
