floating Paradox

We appear to have a new problem.

Tenebrous is dealt with.
That is good!

But unfortunately now we have a problem in how Paradox is manifesting in the area.

In the battle against Tenebrous' hounds, a number of vulgar spells needed to be cast. No sleepers were present, and those of us casting used mana and our tools to mitigate the chances of a paradox effect taking place, but that didn't matter.

Instead of taking place, the Paradox that would have caused an affect seems to be floating about - pooling itself into a greater level.

Anyone with high levels of knowledge regarding Paradox should look into this. I sadly do not now enough about the subject.

I'll start whatever research I am allowed to see if anything like this has happened before. If nothing like this I may at least be able to come up with possible theories.

I would personally be on guard for possible manifesations to be brought about because of this.

I think Solarius is right. Having been at the battle vs. Tenebrous dogs and seeing it through the Eyes of the Magus, I noticed the peculiarity. It seems to not do anything, backlash, brand or anything.. I fear too that a Manifestation of an Abyssal spirit may come about as well.

For now my suggestion is as a Consilium we put a temporary hold on ALL Vulgar magics entirely. I would hate to feed it further as Paradox also feeds the Abyss and gives it more strength.

I would hope some Master of Prime may have more they can do with this perhaps it has something its building for, or just not affecting us.

All is mere conjecture of course but I think its worth refraining entirely if possible.

2 Quick things,

Alpha.) I would doubt it be nessesary to tell but I would hate for it to happen. Be careful in the studies of this, when you stare into the abyss the abyss tends to stare back… much harder. My personal recommendation upon the studies of this would be indirectly as possible. While I am sure eventually a direct study may be nessesary I would recommend they are done as a group with observers not directly studying this issue there to make sure no one gets hurt.

Secondus.) This has no other need to be spoken then just correcting a quick misspelling. My name is spelled Solaris, my full name is Solaris Winter. Pretty much anyone here can tell anyone else I used to just go by Solice. Thus I usually shorten it to Sol. Quick there ya go no major biggy.
