I figured I would share this information since not everybody subscribes to the haughty discussion of the Awakened network. If anybody feels like going Hardy Boys while we're in Milwaukee here is the most pertinent background information that was made available.
"My records indicate that the house was home to Buck's Cabal in the late 1800's and the Ra's Eye Cabal from 1955 to sometime early this century, both quite secretive -- so no other research could be found on these specifically." -Viola Arwen
"Bon soir,
I normally tilt an ear to the words of the dead, as they do provide a brief reprieve to the tasks I have in my existence. Though, I occasionally come across a rare find- the psychic impresion. While I imagine that everyone knows what a psychic impression is, I will rehash the meaning for those who
may not know. A psychic impression is a "memory" left at a specific locale; more often than not associated with a overwhelmingly powerful emotional resonance. Scenes of murder are the most common psychic impressions.
Normally my home and chantry holds the occasional impression that I am lucky enough to come across- but when one regarding the Schrecklich house came up, let alone several, I felt that I would be kind and share.
I had come across several impressions in the air, as if they were radio transmissions, but I suspect that they were mostly diary entries based on the vernacular. Sadly, the memories are not of cutting edge MPEG clarity, so some words awere lost. When asking the spectres about this Schrecklich House and the memories, they tell me that this happened about fifty years ago.
Of course, they could have lied. Spectres are usually not honest individuals.
It seems that a lady by the name of Hyapatia, of the Rat's Eye Cabal had taken residence in the Schrecklich House. Despite it being a terribly creepy place, she loves it there. She makes reference to a Solomon and Rose who seem to be in a blossoming romance, an Eagle's Feather who seems to be interested in self-medication and a Carlysle who is "pretty disgusting" and apparently enjoys scaring children. There is another Cabal, but the name given is Buck. Buck's cabal seem very interested in Manifest destiny.
It seems that one night, Hyapatia was awakened by voices talking about terrible things. She really hates living there sometimes. Reminds me of a story I once read- Dreams In the Witch House . Of course, the next memory proclaimed a love for the place. Anything she wanted, all she had to do was dream it.
The last memory was Hyapatia either being roused from sleep or mortally wounded by the tone and inflection of her voice. "They're coming..." There was a noise as if a great many thigs were pounding upon doors and walls, trying to get in. What was that movie? Night of Anubis...? It sounded a lot like that. "They're here..." The pounding became louder and then, I beleive, she succumbed. "... can't let them wake up." and then, as the memory ended, a rather deep man's voice stated, quite clearly "It is done. Let us bring her back."
Quite a tale, non? Just something to think about before we go to the soire."

[03:19] <Cricket> The House was owned/built originally by Buck and his cabal, the members of which are unknown at least to me at this time.
[03:20] <Cricket> After they disappeared mysteriously, the house was claimed by the Ra's Eye cabal, who set about trying to uncover Buck's old research.
