We are rapidly closing in on the 14th and it would be nice to get just a bit more info. Alot of us are not on local lists yet and refuse to subscribe to national ones -Don

I have a quick suggestion (and I really hope it doesn't come out sounding like griping, because thats not the intention) but I think maybe we should have a clear announcement made a minimum of 72 hours before games in the future. I mean a VERY clear When/Where(Directions?)/What time/whats expected/and maybe even an IC premise (which would be REALLY cool to have out there before game) thing on all lists, boards, etc (If we get them going out on Regional lists or some such we may even be host to visitors which is a really fun idea). I heard complaints from one or two folks about not hearing about this game in time, and I know this isn't the first time several of us have been digging for info and such (and not just for mage either). I'm sure we can put one of the ADC's, ADST's, or AVST's from the appropriate venue in charge of this to make life a bit easier for the VST's. Again, just to clarify, this is not directed at anyone in particular and not meant as a gripe or jab in anyway. Just a constructive suggestion.

Don,
Given my work schedule and the time it takes me to get to and from work each day, I'm doing good to get announcements out 48 hours ahead of time...and to be perfectly honest that is a good bit better than when we would get announcements for games just hours ahead of time....and no I'm not going to name the venues that occured with. I'm sorry if 48 hours isn't enough time for you but I tend to spend an average of 11 to 12 hours a day either at work or getting to and from work...so it really 48 hours is the best that I can do especailly when most times I don't know how *I'm* getting to game until 10 to 12 hours before check in...

I honestly don't think that is the issue here. Our STs have been doing good to get the games announced when they can, but that's them doing the best they can with what they are given. Really, the key to success with this lies in having a set schedule of dates/times/locations, and fluxing as necessary (life happens). On that end, we've done a good job of "generally" (i.e. Requiem is generally 1st and 3rd weekend), but we can probably do better than that. A set schedule, with changes announced as soon as they come available (if needed) would alleviate the work schedule problem, as well as give the players some consistency.
STs, I'd like to work on this offline when we can.
