Game on 5-5-07. Site question...

Hey guys - -
I just showed up, but I'm hearing that this upcoming game (5-5-07) will be in Lincoln at Scott's place. Is that right?
Also, what's expected when I show?
Is there anything I should bring other than my character sheet and money for breakfast afters?
Do you guys normally do afters there in Lincoln?
Is there an ST out there who wants me to get a hold of them before I show?

Yes.... game is at my place this weekend. 3823 Worthington Ave. in Lincoln. Some people do afters, but people are more than welcome to just kick it back here and relax after game is called, too. You should only really need to bring your character, or email it to Chelle at [e-mail]. Don't know how to answer what you should expect. What sort of details are you lookin for?

Ok...from what I am hearing we are looking at maybe somewhere between 15-20 players showing up at Scott's place and that includes special guests Dave and Christina YEAH!!!

Anyway, because of that and because it is half way through my term and with the new influx of players and returning players I am requesting a venue meeting before game. Pre-game will still be there BEFORE game. Send any downtimes/EXP spending to Scott no later than Friday night so he can address anything that is questionable to me before pre-game on Saturday.

Pre-Game: 5:00
Venue Meeting: 5:30-6:30-ish (to allow time for people to grab food afterwards if necessary)
Game: 7:00

Pre-Game: As always, pre-cast ritual draws and questions to the VST staff, downtimes for those that do not have Internet access or are involving more than just yourself-these need to be quick so have your actions in mind ahead of time. Pre-game announcements will be announced after the Venue meeting.

Agenda:

1) Critique the Storyteller and the Venue. So far we have been pretty political/social heavy since the formation of the Tri-Cities and the current antagonist is either in the background or it is yourselves. What you like, don't like and changes that you would like to see added/deleted that maybe some other domains do/don't do that could help improve the game is what I would like my players to think about. If you want these addressed anonymously and feel comfortable sending me an e-mail or PM about it feel free and I will address it at the next meeting.

2) Go over things that could effect continuity within the venue, specifically havens, feeding grounds and business your kindred or ghouls own or manage. Where is yours specifically (if you want to let me know privately before game that is fine) so I can get an updated census. I will try to have an Omaha and Lincoln map with me if people need it.

3) Provide me with an updated name/cam#/phone/e-mail list so I can have it on file in case of last minute changes.

Scott, I don't know that *I* even knew what I meant by my "what to expect" question, but Chelle somehow answered it really well. ;D
Chelle, I will email you my character stuff before Friday to give you some time to peek at it a bit. I *do* have one pre-approved Cam character, but it's pretty similar to something I've played in another LARP recently so I might make something else.

Guess I'll repost my telephone number and work schedule that is good until further notice. No phone calls after midnight please unless you ask first, i.e. find me on some sort of IM or have permission ahead of time. I am going to put out to the universe official office hours which will probably be two, 2-hour blocks of time spread out throughout the week because of my schedule. Those that work with me already know that if I'm on-line, especially IRC I'm generally cool with doing VST stuff.

I've got to say...I'm super excited at the HUGE potential of awesome RP this weekend! I'm *really* looking forward to game. I just wanted to say this...

1. If it's not too sweltering hot or raining out, I'm going to open up the back yard for the bulk of game. That way, we'll have plenty of room to spread out. Obviously, downstairs will be available for game, as is the computer room for side scenes or a "kill box". I'd like to keep the number of people out front down to a minimum. That way, we don't scare the straights, Egon.

2. I'm really looking foward to seeing some old friends, new friends and just having a great time playing the game. Let's all keep in mind....it IS just a game, and we're supposed to have fun!

Do not forget though, that Scott is nice enough to host, but we do have a site fee and could always use help with refreshment type objects. $1 for the site (goes into the domain treasury). If you don't have it, we can work with you on it. I don't want to preclude anyone now that we have the influx coming in. If you can pony something up though, please do.
