So, it's 1 year down now. Time sure flew in that regards. It's been pretty fun so far, I've met lots of new people all over the region. I had my first ICC with you guys. It was a quite a bit to take in. Like, where I had to run a regional meeting with no idea what I was really doing yet. Things have worked and some things haven't. It's been a learning process, that's for sure.
Some of the years accomplishments:
All reports in On Time from the RST to date.
New regional lists for venues and for covenants: Some are used more than others, some aren't at all. That's ok, we'll work on that. They've been added to the CRD Lists to make it easier for everyone to get subscribed on.
Open Communication. I've done my best to get back to everyone in a timely manner, some times I slip but who doesn't. I also do my best to stand up and speak in the region's interest.
There's a lot of stuff I can't talk about, since it's ST based stuff and a lot of stuff is going on in the background too.
A lot has been accomplished, but there's still lots more to do.
Featured Games:
I'd like to get the featured games back on track. If you are interesting in having one, please get with your ST staff and have your DST talk to me about it. I want to have these scheduled ahead of time by at least a few months with announcements being sent out at least the month before the event. If a domain is unable to get me something on time, then that month's event will be cancelled. There won't be any last minute Featured Games. I have an announcement template that helps make the job easier. Basically, for a featured game, there needs to be a location that can comfortably hold at least 30 people, directions to the game site from various points in the region, and an IC premise. This announcement needs to be approved by me. It is preferred that they are held on a Saturday and have 2 games held, both eligible for Over Cap.
Regional Plots:
There's some in play and those ones are getting updated so help get others involved. I also have some stuff that's coming down the pipe. It should be ready to release soon ish. I will be putting out a request for PC's who fit a certain profile I am looking for to get involved. I've got a couple in progress and a couple written up ready to be released when the time is right.
Website:
Sean's been doing a great job on this, but I want to make it better and more about what it's supposed to be about: You All. I am going to be looking for some pictures from all of you to post to the web site. I'm looking for pictures from the last year. Start looking around to see what you have, I'll post an email with more details later.
Assistants:
I am going to be putting out an all call for assistants later this week. So, if this is something you are interested in, please start putting a Cam resume together. I would like to thank my assistants for the work they did. It was a big help last year when I was trying to wrap my head around what was going on and that kind of thing.
That's a sample of what I have in the works and plan to be working on over the next few months.
Oh, and Happy Anniversary. (for those who know what that means)
