Council Bluffs

We have had a new RC for a couple of months now. We are in the midst of the elections for a new NC. These are the people we would have to talk about this issue with, and thus the people who shot us down previously.

Citing Kansas City as an example, I'm going to write a formal proposal requesting that Council Bluffs be given over to our domain and the NC region. As I said, this has been shot down previously, but hopefully we'll be able to do something about it this time.

So if anyone has any information concerning this issue, i.e. things that would help persuade them, let me know so I can include it. I'll be sending this off in a couple of weeks, maybe a bit longer depending on the NC results.

I would just recommend pointing out that any Cam members residing in Council Bluffs would more than likely join our Domain (from what I understand that was how it went in the past) as well as the fact that CB is closer to Omaha then Lincoln (Won't impact it to much I am sure, but may still be worth pointing out). I'm sure your planning on pointing out most of that already. All in all its a great idea. Anyone want to move to CB to make our argument a bit easier?

Why are we even worrying about Council Bluffs when we have no Cam presence there right now anyway? Someone planning on doing a membership push over there?

However, the issue I'm looking more at is jurisdiction on the ST side. We've been watching our step with what we do in CB for a while now because it is officially in the GL region, even though we claim it as ours. It's just one of those paperwork things that used to be right, got made wrong, and should be made right again (in my opinion, that is).

We currently dont have any pending members in council bluffs anymore, for they all moved to omaha and I have been working with them and spending time with them. They have spoke of wnating to return they just have to find time off from work that is the one thing that stops them at this time. I agree council bluffs was once ours, and we should have it back because we have story there and we cant do what we need to because its offically GL and we would have to through them to get permisson to really do anything.
