Hear something funny at a game? Found a quote you just have to share with everyone? Introducing the Quote of the Month contest!
Send in the quote to this board, context thrown to the wind, (preferably from a game or social event) if you think it's good enough to represent us for the month. From the submissions I will select finalists.
I will award 5 prestige to anyone who submits a quote of the month finalist nominee (max of 3). Those quotes will be voted on, and the winner will get another 5 prestige. It will be placed in the newsletter, so it will be considered "contribution to the newsletter". It will also be the second quote (after the welcome message) in the News Fader on the boards.

Ok so this isn't original nor is it word for word and it needs a little set up. But I was reading The Laughing Corpse last night by Laurell K Hamilton, the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Chronicle and there is a part where she is going to meet a whore in the district known as the Tenderloin in St. Louis. sort of a red light district.
She is going to this place but wants backup her coworker a fellow zombie raiser backs out on her and the Master of the City Vampire Jean-Claude, whom is trying to make her his Human servant and she hates him for it. Yet, Anita takes hima s her backupo and the quoate goes something like this:
"I'm going into the Tenderloin with back up. The Master of the City. Big scary Vampire. Bring on the pimps. It was liked killing ants with a thermoneuclar device.."
I about laughed so hard when i read this part I thought about Vincent going into some situation that he could handle and bringing some powerful Vampire with him as well.. it seemed fitting.
