In a valiant effort by the US Air Force to deprive me not only of much needed XP and Prestige, not to mention human interaction after six week in the land of the short funny-speaking people, they have awarded me with a free trip to Las Vegas...

Saturday...

For the next two weeks.

Needless to say, I won't be at game to see your shining faces, I can't be at a BBQ to laugh and talk with you all, and I won't be making it to SERE. *sigh*

I should return soon, but I will have to wait to be welcomed home until then.

I don't even get the days off for being gone so long they promised me.

I'll get back here on the 19th, then I'll have about four weeks before they send me off to the desert. After that, it'll be August until I can see you again.
