There has been a lot of discussion lately about the Awakening MET book that is in the works.
Why bother?
Those are the two words that come to mind when I think New World of Darkness & MET.
I own a copy of the TT and MET versions of WoD and V:tR.
The most notable difference between TT and MET WoD is that the combat merits got nerfed.
Sidenotes: According to TT First-Aid uses Wits + Medicine in the field. According to MET it uses Dexterity + Medicine.
According to TT Vigor increases your ability to jump. According to the flavor text in MET it does too, but in the system area it says it doesn't.
Linguistics was a 1-3 point merit in TT where now it's a single merit in MET.
We can pick nits, but... why bother?

For those of the people who don't play TT, and only do MET. Thats there choice to buy into it. Lets face it, the main mage book has WAY to much stuff to deal with. And really when you get down to it, it ha rules that while work in TT, you can't cover so well in LARP.
Like Paradox backlash, Mitigation, Creation of items, and more.
they may also alter a few things for the met then the TT. So yeah, things got cheaper or nerfed in a few ways but some of teh combat merits got nerfed for a reason.
Before there nerfing, they were broken. I mean beyond. If you took Boxing, kung-fu, or two-weapon, congrats.. you got a second attack on the same target in one turn. They got nerfed for a reason.
right, i'm rambling and tired. Have fun.
