New Character Creation Info?

Hey all! Alysen has gotten me all curious about the game, so I'm thinking about whipping up a character for the 20th. The only problem is that I have no clue what the Cam rules are as far as creation is concerned. I'm looking for things like starting xp, approval levels for funky clans/disciplines/whatever, and anything else I should know before I get my heart set on a concept. Is there a place where I can look at all that kind of information, maybe a rules website or some such?

Ooh, and I was also curious to see if I could get a loose head-count for the Kindred venue, just to make sure I don't make the umpteen-millionth *insert clan/covenant here* to enter the city. Any and all input is greatly appreciated, and with a little luck, I'll see you all soon!

As for the approval levels and such, they can be found in the addendum, either online (if you have the login for the cam stuff) or we could e-mail you the pdf. Or someone could post it. Your choice.

The clan stuff is pretty heavily Gangrel right now. Most everything else could use some help.

The Covenant stuff is reasonably even, though there are quite a few Invictus. At last check, Carthians and Crone had the minority.

Chelle, these assessments right?

Nos are easily a close second now from what I have seen...and Crones aren't doing to bad from what I have seen....if anything the Sanctified seem to be lacking...have yet to meet one of those in game...

Sweet. So far, everything is working out for the concept I have in mind. If someone would be kind enough to email me the pdf of the Addendum, I'd be most appreciative.

Sometimes the pendulum swings. A year ago we had no Invictus save one and look at where we are at tonight. Gangrel on the other hand have been top dog pretty much the entire time, mostly due to a lack of character death/retirement by the players.

Given recent character additions the top two clans are Gangrel followed by Nosferatu.
Top covenants right now are Invictus followed by Crone (who brought in a character in play-awesome RP guys), Ordo and LS are tied and Carthians are last.

I will not deny a character clan/covenant concept based off of numbers we already have in play without hearing your concept first. The easiest place to get an idea for approvals would be the addendum off of the white-wolf site. And if you're looking for something specific then put out a question either publicly or privately.

Nope, that's pretty much all the information I needed, thanks! I'll see if I can't access the addendum on the White Wolf site to make sure I'm not completely out of whack with the new rules. Once I have something concrete, I should be sending the PM to Chelle, correct?

The Nosferatu being second and the Crone being heavy are both recent and only seem that way because the Invictus/Gangrel were hiding. It probably hasn't been noticed yet by them. :-p

Well...maybe not to all of them but Anna pays attention to who comes in and out of the city then again its kinda her job.

Speaking of paying attention. Gangrel get a +1 bonus to status this month because there are so many of us representing :-)
