Hello, this is your new VST-Requiem Chelle Wallum. I have a few general announcements.
I want to congratulate Jessica Howell and Scott Barnes on accepting the position of becoming my new AVSTs-Requiem. We will discuss in further detail how we can work together to help make Requiem successful and I'll be making a general announcement of who is doing what for the venue at game on Sunday. For now, keep in mind they can run/oversee scenes and challenges at game.
I am shutting down the YahooGroups Lincoln_Night: Carpe Noctum: Home of the IHOPS. With the introduction and success of the pro-boards I feel that having this list is no longer necessary. Our last post on the list was August 10, 2006.
Characters: I want to meet with each individual player at some point for a character audit if its necessary but more importantly to look over your character background, what goals they have and where you see them developing over the next six months to a year, haven(s), retainers, allies, contacts, etc. I know I have a great task set ahead of me that requires alot of cleaning up and getting things organized but I won't know what's cracked or broken unless someone tells me. Come talk to me-I won't know there is a problem, concern or issue unless you tell me...I don't want you to get to the point that your not having any fun with your character and want to remove yourself from the venue if there is an alternate way to approach things.
FEEDBACK! I would like to know what you liked, didn't like, would like to see more of (or less of) in the Requiem game from last year to this year. Any ideas on what would make the game more fun and enjoyable is welcome as well as constructive criticism is welcome-either publicly or privately.
Featured Game of the Month!!! Think about what your covenant is doing for the City of Enlightenment. Props, flyer's, pamphlets, etc. are encouraged. Some of us have access to a printer on campus (myself included) if you have stuff to print. I have cloth material and craft stuff that you might be able to use including a wood burner, air brush set and dremmel-let me know what you need/want and we will see what we can do. Pimp out your temple, church, academy whatever-make members of your covenant jealous and envious that they don't have something as cool as this for their own city and make them want to go back and start something of their own. (I know...I'll deal with the proxy headache later...or maybe pass that off to one of my minions :-)
Local Teaser---the covenant who does the most awesome job will be rewarded :-)
I will be on-line only for a few hours (if that) each night starting Wednesday as I start my daily commute from Omaha to my job in Lincoln. I know there are a going to be alot of approvals on the DB with ICC done and over with and I know some of you have questions on how certain powers or rituals work. Be patient, I'll be checking the DB no later than Friday night after work. Send me e-mails or PM with your questions and I'll do my best to get them answered.
New cell phone number: (402) 203-2766 this is a pre-paid number so don't abuse it. I will have a land line that I can return calls from and the Cricket number (402) 805-0187 will be available until they shut it off-probably toward the end of the week or first part of next week.
I think that's it for now.
