The tragic events of this last weeknd have come as shock to most of us. Sister Katherine was an asset to this city, as well as a good kindred trying to stay on the path of moral righteousness. She will be mourned and missed.
However, in your outrage of her death, do not forget that we lost another good kindred. Despite what rumors you may have heard, I have cleared Lord Angus McCambell of any wrongdoing in the death of Sister Katherine. I have done my own investigation, and do not believe that Lord McCambell committed the crime of diablerie, nor even attempted it.
It is unfortunate that he is no longer with us, but I also do not hold Dame NicQuinn accountable for his death. She did what she thought was best for the good of the city, and in that should be praised.
For any to speak ill of these three in reference to this event is to speak directly against me and this city, though I will entertain any private correspondence anyone wishes on this matter. The real criminals are still out there. We will find them, and when we do, they will pray for the mercy of death.
