As many of you may have noticed, I have been uncharacteristically silent for quite some time now. This was not a silence of my own choosing, instead it was a silence forced upon me through the treacherous actions of a lesser kindred within our beloved Tri-Cities. I am sure by now many have seen the vile slander that Mr. Webb has been spilling upon these pages. No doubt many have also seen his ominous threat about having me followed, and having my haven located. I write this evening to inform all that this was not a ruse. He did indeed have me followed, and whats more his mysterious spy also attempted to put an end to my existence.

I wish to petition for Justice. The attempted assassination of a member of this City at the hands of this rabble rouser should not be tolerated. Beware the treachery of Billy Webb, fellow Kindred. Secure your havens, for he has shown what lengths he will go to to advance his unwholesome agenda.

What evidence other then words do you bring forth against him? Do you have a ghoul of his.. or his people? Do you have him as a blur on a film? Do you have him witnessed to having a truth saying it would happen?

I am just curous.. If you are also so understanding.. what is his unwholesome agenda?

Mr. St. James,

First I must thank you for being a proactive young member of this Domain. Your interest in subjects that do not concern you is an interesting quirk. Perhaps we can discuss it at a later time. As I am once again in a generous mood I will expand upon this topic for your benefit. We can arrange payment for such at a later date.

On the matter of evidence: Traditionally when one calls for Justice they are seeking the involvement of the Sheriff or even the Prince himself. Do you seek to usurp the role of our noble Domains rightful Court Members? I am sure if this domain were ruled by the Carthian Movement proof, and a trial by ones peers, would both be necessities. Thankfully this is a Domain ruled by the Invictus, a Covenant based on Noble Tradition and not silly mortal ideals. We have the words that Billy Webb spoke, the accusation made by Myself, and the standing that he and I both hold within this Domain. These factors will all be weighed by the appropriate authorities and a decision will be handed down. Do not misinterpret this, however, if the appropriate authorities seek evidance, then they shall find it in abundance. I merely wish to reinforce the fact that things must be handled in certain ways. If you believe this matter should be handled differently then by all means, tell us how it should be handled.

On Billy Webb's Unwholesome Agenda: Billy Webb has spewed Anti-Invictus propaganda ever since our Good Czar was kind enough to allow him entrance into this Domain. He has attempted to sway 'public opinion' against this Domains rightful authorities. He has also helped, through some of his actions and statements, advance that dreadful rumor about an alliance forming between the Foul Carthians and the Noble Sanctified. Come to think of it Mr. St. James, I would be very careful if I were you. We would not want your actions to lend any credence to this rumor, would we?

Indeed the rumors! The gossip! The slander!

How dare someone wish to harm a hair upon the head of our beloved Lord Alder Grim. FOR SHAME!!! I could not think of a single… I could not think of more than five… I can not think of more than a few hundred people who would wish to see harm done to such an amazing individual.

I demand his petition for Justice be heard by one and all and we find the true mastermind of this plot. I shall spit upon them, I shall shake my finger madly at them I shall give them $20… nah maybe a penny Im sure they’ld still think its worth it… I mean How DARE they.

In response to your amazing allegations, my dear Lord Alder Grim, I will quote one of my computer techy friends “Im sorry Mario but the Princess is in another castle” Let me use an older phrase for those that are too old to enjoy video games “Barking up the wrong Tree” or how about a simple “Wasn’t me.”

Ahh but William Jones Webb, and sorry my dear Lord Alder Grim my name is William, of course the guilty would claim innocence in such matters. Well true… So I guess it’s a matter of style. Any Kindred worth the name would first realize direct attacks are dangerous. Even assassinations such methods are sloppy at best and there are ALWAYS retalations honestly not worth it. So how does one combat such a soul. Hmm… well I would laugh at him, poke fun of him, get the court to turn against him, maybe next I would attack his resources, his contacts don’t seem to give him the information he is used to. Ghouls become accidently missing, property becomes investigated. “But William” you say “Those are all mere annoyances surely that will not defeat a kindred of such power and magnificence as our dear Lord Alder Grim” Ah but there in lies the beauty. For never once have you directly attacked him yet he is angry he wishes you harm he might make a mistake… no no not our dear Lord Alder Grim but perhaps another with much less flair for the game. Surely this Alder would know that kindred do not get to such an age without a bit of finesse in there abilities. So I say to you this point fingers and accuse. But if this were a true story and you really were attacked by someone, amazing I know he MIGHT actually be telling the truth on this. Feel safe and secure knowing I would never end your or another requiem. Terrorize, joke at, generally have a good banter with you and cause you nothing but grief and sadness and annoyance for the rest of your nights… possibly. But end it… Never.

I truly hope this helps you and I shall endeavor to do as little as possible in order to find a true culprit that probably doesn’t exist
